I always say that age 7 is the youngest age to teach children because before that age they havnt got the required level of concentration or reading skills required to succeed.

Q2 What is the oldest age you can start to learn to play the Piano?

Their isn’t an upper age limit. My oldest pupil is 80.

Q3 Do you have to have any Musical Background/Experience to start learning?

No. The skills needed can be taught to anyone. It is the desire to learn that is more important.

Q4 Do you have to have a piano or keyboard to start lessons?

Yes. You need to practice every day.

Q5 Do you have to sit music examinations?

No. You can learn purely for pleasure.

Q6 How long will it take me to learn to play the Piano?

This really depends on how much you practise and what level you want to achieve.
Basic skills are taught during the first 6 weeks lessons and then progress is made month on month.
